PLACEMENT TEST DATES AND TIMES

Even arriving 45-60 minutes early will not guarantee you a seat.

The FCC placement tests are used to determine your English and Math skills. They are also used to determine which of these courses you should be placed in so that they meet your academic needs. Just as we don’t want you in classes that are too easy for you—that is a waste of your time and money—we do not want you in classes that are too difficult—that leads to serious frustration and course withdrawal or bad grades. For this reason, we strongly recommend all incoming students take the placement test. For more information see: Placement Testing FAQ

Both English tests start as listed above, but the ESL test takes longer. Students taking the ESL test will have to plan to take the math test on another day. Please come 30 minutes early to do paperwork.

Testing Schedule (559) 442-8282

Seating extremely limited. Only 30 admitted per session. No Late Admittance. Placement results available the next day at the Assessment Center. (Due to the high volume of tests given, results are not available by phone).
